Satyrian

Danse Macabre, a musical journey through the darkness, was born from the meeting of the Belgian Gunther Theys (Ancient Rites) with the Greeks Sotiris (Septic Flesh) and George Zaharopoulos (ex-Rotting Christ) in Athens. In 1995, two songs for a 7" EP were recorded, but shortly afterwards, their label closed its doors and the recordings did not come out. The project threatened to stop before it had really even begun. Gunther kept the idea and the concept always in mind and, in 1997, he fortunately found musicians who shared his artistic views. The Finn Jan 'Örkki' Yrlund (ex-Lacrimosa, ex-Two Witches, ex-Prestige, SinMasters, Ancient Rites) and the Belgian Raf Corten (ex-Ancient Rites) wanted to continue the Story.
