Molly Hatchet

Molly Hatchet is an American Southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, founded in the early 1970s by Danny Joe Brown (vocals, harmonica, guitar), Dave Hlubek, Duane Roland, Steve Holland (guitars), Banner Thomas (bass) and Bruce Crump (drums). The band's career peaked in 1979 with the release of its second album titled Flirtin' with Disaster before inevitably declining in the '80s, the band being destabilized by numerous line-up changes that would translate in the '90s into the absence of any musician from the band's original line-up. Having joined Molly Hatchet in 2005, guitarist Dave Hlubek remained the only surviving musician from the band's original line-up, which released its self-titled first album in 1978.
