Luciferion

The band was founded in early 1993 by Michael Nicklasson (guitar), Peter Weiner (drums) and Wojtek Lisicki (guitar and vocals), with Martin Furängen (bass) joining later. Big names in 80s metal such as Morbid Angel, Deicide, Celtic Frost and others served as models. In mid-1993, Luciferion recorded its first demo, The Demon of 1994, which was sent to the French label Listenable Records in 1994. A contract was immediately concluded and the demo was released later the same year to be promoted on the label. In February 1994, the recording of the first studio album Demonication (The Manifest) began at Studio Fredman. Shortly after the recording was finished, drummer Weiner left the band and was replaced by Hans Nilsson.
