Mavrick

The band Mavrick was founded in 1998 by the former guitarist of Aria, Sergey Mavrin. The band's name is due to his nickname, which also has a connection with the word "Maverick". In 2001, the band was officially renamed "Sergey Mavrin". The band released its first album, Skitalec, in 1998. From 2000 to 2010, eight albums would follow, including a live one. Sergey Konstantinovich Mavrin (in Russian: Сергей Константинович Маврин, born on February 28, 1963), nicknamed "Mavrick" (Маврик), is a Russian musician and composer recognized as one of the best guitarists of the Russian metal scene.
