Down

Down is an American metal supergroup created in 1991 in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2009, the band consisted of Phil Anselmo on vocals, Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein on guitar, Patrick Bruders on bass and Jimmy Bower on drums. Since its formation, Down has released three studio albums, NOLA, Down II: A Bustle in Your Hedgerow and Down III: Over the Under. Recently, the band released its fourth album in the form of an EP: Down IV Part I - The Purple EP. Down formed in 1991 with singer Phil Anselmo (Pantera), guitarist Pepper Keenan (Corrosion Of Conformity), second guitarist Kirk Windstein and bassist Todd Strange, along with Jimmy Bower (Eyehategod) on drums. The band then made a three-track demo that was only sold within the underground scene in Louisiana.
