Katra

Katra is a Finnish gothic metal band with female lyrical vocals, from Tampere. The band's name is none other than that of its founding singer Katra Solopuro. Katra was formed during the summer of 2006, when vocalist Katra Solopuro decided to surround herself with a group of musicians who would be Johannes Tolonen (bass), Jaakko Järvensivu (drums), Kristian Kangasniemi (guitar) and Jani Wilund (keyboard). It was during the autumn of that same year that their first single, Sahara, was released.
