Leviathan

Leviathan is an American power metal band formed in 1989 in Aurora, Colorado. The name Leviathan (from the Hebrew: liwjatan) comes from Phoenician mythology, in which it is the monster of primordial chaos. The band released an EP in 1992 and its first album, Deepest Secrets Beneath, in 1994. They released four other albums from 1996 to 2011, including one live album. The last known line-up was: Kyle Abbott – Drums, Jeff Ward – Vocals, Guitars, Vocals, John Lutzow – Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals (backing), Derek Blake – Bass, Vocals (backing), and Rafael Gazal – Vocals.
