Heathen

The first line-up of Heathen was made up of Lee Altus (guitar), Carl Sacco (drums), Sam Kress (vocals) and James Sanguinetti (guitar). The band played its first concert on 21 April 1985. David Godfrey White, Doug Piercy and Eric Wong joined the band the same year, and Heathen recorded the band's first demo. The band released its first album, Breaking The Silence, in 1987. Following this album, the line-up was modified again: the singer of the band Exodus, Paul Baloff, recorded a demo with the band. With David Godfrey White back in Heathen, the band recorded its second album, Victims of Deception, in 1991. Following the departure of Doug Piercy and the death of touring bassist Randy Laird, Heathen split up in 1992.
