Demolition Hammer

The original line-up was made up of Steve Reynolds, James Reilly and John Salerno. This formation recorded only one demo, Skull Fracturing Nightmare, in 1988; shortly after, the band hired tattoo artist Vincent Civitano (aka Vinny Daze) to replace Salerno. It was in fact Daze who designed the band's logo. They added another guitarist, Derek Sykes, to have a fuller sound. After putting out another demo, Necrology, they were signed by Century Media Records. The band's first 2 albums, Tortured Existence in 1990 and Epidemic of Violence in 1992, have a brutal Thrash/Death approach and sound. Former drummer Vinny Daze died poisoned by a "GLOBEFISH" on March 11, 1996.
