Power Quest

Power Quest was created in March 2001 by keyboardist Steve Williams, who played melodic power metal inspired by bands such as Stratovarius, Rhapsody and Freedom Call. The name was chosen for two reasons. First, "Power" of course refers to the power metal style, and "Quest" is the image of warriors in search of the truth. After leaving the band Dragonforce, he had to look for members to undertake this quest. Steve Scott (ex-Shadowkeep and ex-DragonHeart) was approached to play bass. Steve thus agreed to join his former colleague. Guitarist Adam Bickers met Steve Williams back when he was in his own band, Drs. In April 2002, singer Alessio Garavello was recruited by Power Quest. Alessio sang in June for Power Quest's first album.
