Syron Vanes

Formed in Malmö in 1981 by Rix Volin (Erik Briselius), ex HIGH LEVEL. After a few tours in Germany and Denmark, Syron Vanes was noticed by the label Ebony Records, which asked them to take anglicized pseudonyms: Rix Volin (Erik Briselius), Andy Seymore (Anders Hahne), Rimmy Hunter (Rimbert Vahlström), Stephen Mavrock (Staffan Lindstedt). Their first album was very well received, but Greensmith left shortly after; he was replaced by Dick Qwarforth. The band took part in "The Swedish Rock Championship" in Malmö in 1988. Then Dick Qwarforth left the band; he would be found a few years later in NASTY IDOLS. After a 10-year hiatus, Syron Vanes made an unexpected return with Jakob Lagergren on bass and a new album, "Insane".
