Screaming Trees

Screaming Trees was a rock band associated with the grunge movement. Founded in Ellensburg, Washington State, in 1985. Their sound was a blend of 1960s psychedelic rock and 70s hard rock. Although highly regarded by critics, they never achieved the popularity of other grunge bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains or Pearl Jam. They split up in 2000, 4 years after the release of their last album (Dust).
