Redwood is a Swiss rock band of five musicians from Zurich formed in 1993 and played with the same line-up from 1998 to September 2008. Since early 2009 the band has consisted of singer Nicole Kammermann, guitarists Dino Deck and Mark Lim, bassist Alex Lim and drummer Francesco Gasparini. The beginnings of the band Redwood date back to the early 1990s, when Mark Lim made music with his brother Alex and schoolmates. The first performances took place in 1991. Stylistically, the emphasis was on hard rock, heavy metal and grunge.
