Website
Bonfire, formerly Cacumen, is a German heavy metal band from Ingolstadt. It was formed by Hans Ziller in 1972. The band was called Cacumen from 1972 until 1985, becoming Bonfire the following year, in 1986. The band recorded two studio albums under the name Cacumen: the self-titled album in 1981 and then Bad Widow in 1983. Bonfire's first album was released internationally in June 1986 under the title Don't Touch the Light. During the recording of the follow-up in May 1987, Hülshorst was dismissed due to musical differences, and Bonfire released the album Fireworks as a quartet with Ken Mary of the American metal band Fifth Angel.
