Xandria

It was on the initiative of Marco Heubaum and one of his friends that Xandria came into being in 1994. The band drew its inspiration from the music of bands such as Tiamat and Paradise Lost. But the musical disagreements that overtook the young band led to its breakup three years later, limiting its notoriety at the time. In 1999, on a new initiative of Marco Heubaum, Xandria was reformed. In 2003, after signing with Drakkar Entertainment, the first album Kill The Sun was released, gathering among other things the five demo tracks. The band played many concerts and, after a break, a second album, Ravenheart, appeared in 2004.
