John 5

John 5, born John William Lowery on July 31, 1970 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, USA1, is a metal guitarist. He is known to the general public for having been the third guitarist of Marilyn Manson. His nickname comes from the time he joined Marilyn Manson, when he was the fifth member to join the band and was thus given the pseudonym John 5. Since 2005 he has been the guitarist of Rob Zombie. He is also the author of six solo albums, including a remix one (Remixploitation). A wide-ranging artist, he has, among others, collaborated with Avril Lavigne, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Meat Loaf and David Lee Roth.
