WebsiteSabaton is a Power metal band originally from Falun in Sweden and founded in 1999. The lyrics of their songs are mainly based on the wars that have marked history. This can be seen with the albums Primo Victoria, Attero Dominatus, The Art of War, Coat of Arms and Carolus Rex, where all the tracks, except Metal Machine, the last track of Primo Victoria, and Metal Crue, the last track of Attero Dominatus, take their inspiration from historical battles, wars or famous leaders. This band moreover stands against Nazism, which it clearly denounces in numerous songs.
