The Oath

The Oath came into being in Lyon (France) in 1999. The band has experienced over the years multiple line-up changes, but the hard core always managed to persevere. The Oath today consists of Pierre Leone (guitars and vocals), Manu Da Silva (guitars), Romain Devaux (keyboards and clean vocals) and Christophe Bardon (drums). The Oath's music positions itself at the frontier of black, dark and heavy metal. The influences of each member of the band, in terms of metal or even other musical styles, are all represented. These various contributions give the band's music that particularity which makes it a band relatively difficult to categorise.
