Negative is a Finnish rock band, formed in 1997 in Tampere, initially by Jonne Aaron Liimatainen and Jay Slammer, taking on Sir Christus from the band Bloodpit (who would leave Negative in January 2008). A metal band with strong 1980s influences, they are very well known in their home country and compete with other bands such as HIM or The 69 Eyes. They are also famous in Scandinavia, Japan and Russia. Today they number five: Jonne Aaron Liimatainen on vocals, Larry Love on guitar, Antti Anatomy on bass, Jay Slammer on drums and M. Snack on keyboards.
