Website
Death Angel is an American thrash metal band originating from California, and associated with the Bay Area bands. The band has released eight albums, from The Ultra-Violence in 1987 to Relentless Retribution in 2010. Death Angel was characterised by extremely young musicians, with for example drummer Andy Galeon who was just 14 years old in 1987 for the first album. Their first album The Ultra-Violence sold more than forty thousand copies in less than four months. During the tour accompanying the release of Act III, the band suffered a serious bus accident, in which Andy Galeon was seriously injured.

Three wolves with bloodied jaws and sporting a skull on their snouts, this trio of aggressive beasts nicely symbolizes the predatory aspect of Thrash. When you think about it, it's a fairly unique mascot of its kind in the sense that it appeared late in the band's discography, and that it isn't just a single entity.
