Kre^u

Although a black metal project in dialect is not such an extreme novelty in Italy, it is with a certain curiosity that one approaches the first album of Kre^u, an ambitious work of six songs lasting about forty minutes. Curiosity because the band's presentation is rather sonorous, but also because the project gives off a fairly strong and pronounced passion: from the visual presentation in traditional clothing to the language used to express themselves (that is, a variant, very particular from what one reads, of Sardinian, spoken in Barbagia) to the use of tenor choirs, up to the themes of the album, addressed "in homage to all the bandits and outlaws who, during the Savoyard period (1720-1861), fought, resisted and died for their independence and their individuality", as the presentation itself puts it.
