Lamb of God

Lamb of God, often abbreviated LOG, is an American groove metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994 under the name Burn the Priest, the band consists of singer Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Art Cruz. The band is considered influential in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement. Since its creation, Lamb of God has amassed a total of seven studio albums, one live album, one compilation and three DVDs. The number of sales in the United States exceeds two million copies. In 2010 and 2011, the band was nominated for the Grammy Awards for songs from the album Wrath. Lamb of God took part twice in Ozzfest and once in Slayer's Unholy Alliance tour in 2006.
