Havok

David Sanchez and his classmate, drummer Haakon Sjoegren got together to play Metallica and other music. The duo set about looking for a guitarist by putting up posters in the city of Denver. Guitarist Shawn Chavez joined the band. Finally, they completed their first line-up with Marcus Corich on bass. In 2004, Havok recorded their first demo Thrash Can. In 2005, they self-produced another EP titled Murder by Metal. In 2007, Tyler Cantrell took on the role of bassist and Rich Tice on drums. On September 19, with this new line-up in place, Havok released their first self-produced EP Pwn 'Em All.
