Northern Kings is a Symphonic power metal band made up of four great Finnish metal singers who cover songs from the 80s. Among them are: Jarkko Ahola (singer and bassist of Teräsbetoni), Marco Hietala (singer of Tarot, bassist and second singer of Nightwish), Tony Kakko (singer of Sonata Arctica) and Juha-Pekka "JP" Leppäluoto (singer of Charon). The band formed in 2007 and recorded its first album, Reborn, the same year. The second album, Rethroned, came out in 2008. The band is currently on hiatus because of its members' projects.
