Rigor Mortis

Rigor Mortis formed in 1983, initially of Harden Harrison on drums, Casey Orr on bass, and Mike Scaccia on guitar. The three members shared a common interest in horror/gore films and in noise music. With Bruce Corbitt on vocals, they created one of the most violent thrash metal bands oriented toward death metal. The band is also the most notable originating from Texas. The band signed to the Capitol Records label in 1987. In 2005, the line-up reunited again and took part in Ozzfest 2008 in Texas. In 2009, Rigor Mortis took part in the Keep It True Festival in Germany.
