Paragon

The German Power/Heavy Metal band Paragon was founded in 1990 by guitarist and main writer Martin Christian. In 1992, long before becoming popular, Paragon recorded their first demo tape "Maelstrom Of Decline" and played their first live shows. In 1994, they released a mini CD titled "Into The Black" and received good reviews in the metal press all over Germany. Towards the end of 1994, Martin had written enough songs to record the first real official album, "World Of Sin". After the release of "World Of Sin", a difficult period arose because the record company that had distributed the CD went bankrupt and there was almost no promotion for that CD. The consequences were very poor sales, no shows and several line-up changes.
