Portrait

Portrait is a metal band from the south of Sweden, founded in 2006 by guitarist Christian Lindell and drummer Anders Persson. After having played together in various inconsequential extreme metal bands since around the age of 12, and after rehearsing in one of these constellations a cover of Running Wild's classic "Black Demon", the two came to the conclusion that what they really wanted to do was to play this same kind of timeless heavy metal, being the highest form of music that has ever existed.
