Unleashed the Archers

Unleash The Archers was formed in late 2007 by singer Brittney Hayes (nicknamed Slayes), by drummer Scott Buchanan as well as by former member Brayden Dyczkowski on guitar - with whom Scott had already played before for an independent death metal project. Former member Mike Selman joined Unleash the Archers after his departure from the Canadian death metal band Meatlocker Seven. The bassist spot remained vacant during the band's first months, until Zahk Hedstrom joined them in October 2007, to complete the line-up. At the end of 2008, the band recorded a self-titled four-track demo, two songs of which would be re-recorded for their first studio album.
