Shadows Fall

Shadows Fall is an American metal band formed in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1996. The band played melodic Death Metal in its early days before later evolving toward a more metalcore/thrash metal genre. Since its formation, Shadows Fall have released five studio albums, two compilations and one live DVD. In 2007, the band was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category for the song "Redemption", from the album Threads of Life.
