Md 45

MD.45 was formed in 1996 as a collaborative project of Dave Mustaine, the singer/rhythm and lead guitarist of the band Megadeth, and Lee Ving, singer of the punk band Fear. Alongside Megadeth, Mustaine decided to launch a musical project oriented toward punk and metal. The band's name is made up of the initials of Dave Mustaine (MD) and Lee Ving (VL), who were behind the project. With a small subtlety: 45 must be written in Roman numerals, that is, VL. The band released its first and only studio album, The Craving, on May 29, 1996 in Japan, and on July 23 internationally. The album was rather well received by the specialized press as a whole.
