Vulcain

Vulcain was formed in 1981 by the Puzio brothers, Daniel (guitar and vocals) and Vincent (bass), former members of the band Hard Fight. The band was then joined by Didier Lohezic (guitar) and Franck Vilatte (drums). Together, they recorded and released a demo in 1982, Demo 1982, on the Private Records label. In 1984, after winning a contest, the band was able to record its second demo on the Media 7 label. The band signed with Ebony Records in 1984, and ended up on the label's compilation with its self-titled track. In 1984, the band was finally able to release its first studio album, Rock 'n' Roll Secours. Right away, Vulcain was compared to Motörhead, and was even called the «French Motörhead».
