Thunderstone

Thunderstone was created in 2000 by guitarist Nino Laurenne. After the first demo, Nino wanted to turn it into a real band. Mirka Rantanen was the drummer on the first demo, but he then left. Bassist Titus Hjelm and Nino had already played together in the band Antidote. The next person to join the band was singer Pasi Rantanen, who had done backing vocals on the first demo. Nino had sung in addition to playing guitar. Toward the end of spring 2000, they entered the studio to record 3 excellent power metal songs. Four of the recorded songs were put on mp3.com and they received good reviews from all around the globe. They released their first album, "Thunderstone", in 2000.
