Kotiteollisuus

Kotiteollisuus is a Finnish heavy metal and pop rock band, originally from Lappeenranta. The band released a first demo in 1993 under the name Hullu ukko ja kotiteollisuus, before shortening the name to Kotiteollisuus in 1997. The band is particularly popular in Finland. Hynynen, Hongisto and Sinkkonen met as children at school. Sinkkonen would later introduce Tomi Sivenius to Hynynen and Hongisto. The two friends (Hongisto and Sinkkonen) formed a punk-oriented amateur band called A-Studio. After some time rehearsing, Sinkkonen and the rest of the band split up. Sinkkonen went on to vocational studies, while others went to high school. The band then broke up.
