Warrant

Warrant is an American band, originally from Los Angeles. It found success right from the release of its first album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, rewarded with a double platinum record in the United States. Warrant was founded in July 1984 on the initiative of guitarist Erik Turner along with bassist Jerry Dixon. The band's first real members were these two, joined by Adam Shore on vocals, Max Asher on drums and guitarist Josh Lewis, who were later replaced respectively by Jani Lane, Steven Sweet and Joey Allen. This complete line-up was assembled in 1987. A demo was made in September 1987 for the Paisley Park Records label owned by the singer Prince.
