lynch. was formed in 2004 when Reo (ex-GULLET) joined Hazuki (formerly the vocalist in Deathgaze, an extreme metal band) and Asanao in Nagoya, Japan. With Yukino (formerly the bassist in Deadman, a J-Rock band also in the visual-kei style) as support bassist, they released their first album on the Marginal Works label and toured nationally. In 2006, Yusuke joined as second guitarist. On October 11, 2007, the band signed with CLJ Records, a European label dedicated to releasing Japanese rock artists abroad. Since 2012, lynch. has been signed to Okami Records, a European record label releasing the highlights of the Japanese music scene outside of Visual Kei. Since then, their music has been available worldwide.
