Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe is an American glam metal band formed in 1980 in Los Angeles. It is composed of bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. The band's members often drew attention for their extreme lifestyle; they all had numerous run-ins with the law, suffered from long addictions to alcohol and drugs, had countless affairs with women and are heavily tattooed. The band, whose career reached its peak in the 1980s, is the author of the hits Shout at the Devil, Looks That Kill, Home Sweet Home, and Kickstart My Heart. Mötley Crüe has sold more than 80 million albums worldwide, including 25 million in the United States. A film adapted from their autobiography 'The Dirt, which was a best-seller, is supposed to be released in 2014.
