Notre Dame

Notre Dame was a Swedish metal band formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2004. The band was made up of Snowy Shaw and Vampirella (vocals), as well as Jean-Pierre de Sade (guitar and bass) and Mannequin de Sade (drums), two brothers claiming to be descendants of the writer the Marquis de Sade. The band mixed black metal with elements of electro, gothic, horror metal and orchestrations. In an interview, Snowy stated that he did the drumming on Notre Dame's albums and that Mannequin de Sade was in fact an invented character.
