No Return is a band formed in 1989 in the Paris region and ranking among the precursors of the French thrash/death-metal scene. No Return recorded its first album Psychological Torment (1990) in Germany together with Coroner's drummer, Marky Marquis, then the second Contamination Rises (1992) at the Morrison Studios in Tampa, Florida, which it would have the opportunity to promote during concerts with Coroner and Napalm Death. First personnel change in 1992 with the departure of singer Phil Ordon, replaced by Tanguy who recorded with the band the album Seasons of Soul (1995) and the EP Red Embers (1997) at the Forces Motrices studio in Geneva with producer David Weber before leaving in turn. Under this line-up, No Return took part in the Brutal Tour together with the great French bands of the moment Massacra, Loudblast and Crusher.
