Band formed in 1982. Drummer Dirk Beermann was replaced by Marco Roth after the album Under Tension. Guitarist Thomas Dierstein was involved in a car accident in 1989, which strongly influenced the band's future. High Tension toured with Nazareth in the past. KDC Records released a "best of" in 2004 and the band was featured on several compilations in Germany. The band's members were: Harald Rapp Drums, Joe Weisshaar Bass, and Armin Weisshaar Vocals, Guitars.
