Survivor

Survivor is an American hard rock band originating from Chicago that was created in 1977. A leading band at the end of the 1970s thanks to its legendary Eye of the Tiger, Survivor should have become an acclaimed reference for the old and new generations of hard rock fans. Like others, it turned out otherwise. At the end of 1978, Survivor signed a recording contract with the label Scotti Bros Records. With the support of John Kolodner, then head of the label Atlantic Records, the band entered the studio to finalize their first self-titled album. This recording, made in 1980 with the single Somewhere in America, earned them a loyal legion of fans.
