Michael Bolton

Michael Bolton, whose real name is Bolotin, was born in 1953 in New Haven, Connecticut. Michael made his musical debut during the 1970s, alongside Black Jack, a hard rock band. For the singer with the "mullet" haircut, success came slowly. But he changed his name and abandoned metal. He radically changed his style, going in for romance and the ballad. In 1983, Bolton signed a solo contract with Columbia. His first album, self-titled, came out in the wake and won over the female audience. Michael releases albums, almost every year, achieving enormous success in terms of sales and in concerts where he whips the crowds into a frenzy.
