Abigor

The band was formed in 1993 by Peter Kubik and Thomas Tannenberger. After the release of several demos, singer Tharen left the band and was replaced by Silenius (Summoning), who recorded the vocals until the recording of Channeling the Quintessence of Satan, during which he left the band. Thurisaz, who had been in a thrash metal band called Lost Victim with Tannenberger in the 1980s, joined the band, took the vacant spot and finished recording Channeling the Quintessence of Satan. In late 1999, Tannenberger left the band in turn. After his departure, Abigor released two new albums, the EP In Memory and the album Satanized (A Journey Through Cosmic Infinity), before splitting up in 2003.
