Darkwell

Darkwell, an Austrian band formed in 1999, plays a gothic metal with small symphonic touches that is not so far removed from a Lacuna Coil, for example. Although the Austrian band does not come close to the Italian combo, one can nonetheless note a certain personality in Darkwell, particularly in the sharp riffs of Mathias Nussbaum. The voice of Stephanie Luzie is rather pleasant, as it already has the merit of not always indulging in the lyricism of certain competitors who are shifting records by the palletful at the moment... As for drummer Moritz Neuner, he has a varied playing style and, with Roland Wurzer, forms a solid rhythm section.
