Crimson Glory

Crimson Glory hails from Sarasota, Florida, made up of Midnight (vocals), Jon Drenning (guitar), Ben Jackson (guitar), Jeff Lords (bass) and Dana Burnell (drums). They recorded their first album "Crimson Glory" in 1986, all wearing chrome masks. In 1989 Crimson Glory recorded a landmark album in the metal world: "Transcendence". The reviews were excellent everywhere. The third record they recorded is called "Strange & Beautiful". After the "Strange and Beautiful" tour, the band split up and each member devoted himself to other musical projects. In late 1996, Jon and Jeff decided to record a new Crimson Glory album, with a newly recruited singer, Wade Black. Midnight, whose full name was John Patrick Jr. McDonald, born in 1962 and died on 8 July 2009 in St. Petersburg from acute kidney failure. He was one of the founding members of Crimson Glory.
