Gaskin

GASKIN is a British hard rock/heavy metal band formed in 1980 by Paul Gaskin (guitar/lead vocals) and Dave Norman (drums) in North Lincolnshire. The band's formation coincided with the emergence of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, or NWoBHM as it is affectionately known — bands such as Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Saxon, Diamond Head and Praying Mantis were at the forefront of this movement. The band changed line-up several times, with mainstay Paul Gaskin carrying the torch and eventually releasing a 3rd album "Stand or Fall" in 2000, accompanied by an appearance at the famous Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany the same year.
