The Waltons is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in 1987 in Regina. The band received a Juno Award in 1994 for best new group. The band at its beginnings was known as Neurotic Paperboy before becoming The Waltons. In 1992, with producer John Switzer, they released their first album, Lik My Trakter ("like my tractor"), independently. The following year, they signed with Warner Music Canada. In 1995, the band released Cock's Crow, including two songs co-written with Spirit of the West's John Mann and Geoffrey Kelly.
