Coming from Sweden, Dampf brings together former musicians from bands as disparate and renowned as E-Type (electro), Bathory, Sabaton, Hammerfall or Amon Amarth. On paper, this association seems explosive and should smell of gunpowder and heavy-duty power metal. The reality is more nuanced, and if the musicians temporarily free themselves from their band, it is to offer something somewhat different.
