Silent Death

SILENT DEATH was a short-lived Swiss death metal band formed in the early 90s. The band released the demo "The Infinite Answer" in 1991. SILENT DEATH enlisted singer Brett Hoffmann, who had just left MALEVOLENT CREATION, to provide the vocals for the 1995 EP "Stone Cold". This proved to be the band's final release. Each song has a highlight to show distinction and a bit of creativity. For example, the intro/pre-verse of Eradication contains rusty, consistent guitar rhythms along with the drums that create a fantastic groove. Another example is the opening of Undesirable Demise, which resembles a horror film. The rhythms are outrageously good. This is repeated with Brett coming in with his long scream.
