Mantas

Jeffrey Dunn, better known by the pseudonym Mantas, is a British guitarist. He is famous for having been for many years the guitarist of the English Heavy Metal band Venom, which he himself founded in 1979. The band's name, Venom, is in fact based on his former biker nickname. Mantas first left the band Venom in 1986 before returning to it in 1989. He would leave the band for good in 2002, now wanting to devote himself to other projects. In 2010, Mantas founded, with his former Venom bandmates Tony Dolan and Anthony Lant, the band Mpire Of Evil. Mantas has also released two solo albums, one in 1988 (Wind Of Change), the other in 2004 (Zero Tolerance).
