Destinity is a French melodic death/thrash metal band formed in 1996 in the Lyon region under the influence of Mick (vocals), Zephiros (rhythm guitar) and Morteüs (drums). After two death/symphonic black-oriented albums produced by the label Adipocere Records, the band has, since the release of Synthetic Existence (2005), evolved into a musical sphere closer to the Scandinavian thrash/death scene. The release of The Inside in 2008, on the German label Lifeforce Records and produced at the Hansen studios (Denmark), would allow the band to achieve greater renown around the world.
